Technology workshop at Srimad Andavan Arts & Science College, Trichy
On 2 October 2026 the BraveNexas team ran an industry–academia technology workshop at Srimad Andavan Arts & Science College in Trichy, walking students through the areas that are actually hiring right now: AI engineering, generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, product development and Python full stack development.
These sessions are free, and we run them because the gap between a college syllabus and a first job in software is mostly a gap in exposure. A student who has seen a retrieval pipeline fail and get fixed understands something that no amount of theory delivers.
What we covered
The session moved across the areas our engineers work in day to day:
- AI engineering — how AI features are actually built into working products, not demos
- Generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) — getting a model to answer from your own documents instead of inventing an answer
- Modern AI development workflows — where these tools genuinely speed up an engineer, and where they quietly create work
- Python full stack development — how an API, a database and a front end fit together in a real application
- Product development — how an idea becomes a prototype, and a prototype becomes something people can use
Why we run these in colleges
Most students in this region leave for Chennai, Coimbatore or Bangalore to get exposure to this kind of work. We are based in Ariyalur and we build software for clients from here, so we would rather bring the material to the colleges around us.
There is nothing to buy at one of these sessions. Students who want to go further can join a free online workshop or a live course, but the campus session stands on its own.
Running a session at your college
If you are a faculty member, placement officer or student body in Tamil Nadu and you would like a session like this, write to enquiry@bravenexas.com with your college name and roughly how many students would attend. The workshops are free and we travel to campuses in and around Ariyalur, Perambalur and Trichy.
