Client Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancellations, project advances, work already completed and refunds are handled on a BraveNexas software project, and how to request a refund.

Effective 2 October 2026 · Last updated 2 October 2026

This policy applies to BraveNexas technology, design, software, AI, automation and product development services.

1. Project Advance

Project advances/deposits may become non-refundable once project work has commenced or project resources have been allocated.

2. Work Already Completed

Fees relating to work already completed, delivered, reviewed or approved are generally non-refundable.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a client cancels before project work begins, refund eligibility will depend on:

  • The applicable agreement
  • Amount already incurred
  • Third-party costs
  • Administrative commitments
  • The agreed cancellation terms

4. Cancellation After Work Begins

If the client cancels after work has started, the client may be responsible for payment for:

  • Completed work
  • Approved deliverables
  • Work in progress
  • Dedicated resources
  • Third-party expenses
  • Non-refundable software/services
  • Other approved project costs

Any remaining eligible amount may be considered for refund after reconciliation.

5. Third-Party Costs

Payments made for:

  • Domains
  • Hosting
  • APIs
  • Plugins
  • Software licenses
  • Cloud services
  • Advertising platforms
  • Other third-party services

may be non-refundable where the respective provider does not offer a refund.

6. Scope Changes

A change in project requirements does not automatically qualify the client for a refund.

New requirements may be handled through a change request or revised quotation.

7. Custom Software & Product Development

Custom development involves dedicated design, development and technical resources.

Therefore, cancellation and refund terms for custom software, MVP and product development will primarily follow the signed project agreement or Statement of Work.

8. Delays Caused by Client

Where project delays occur because required content, approvals, payments, access or information are not provided by the client, such delays will not automatically create a refund entitlement.

9. Delivery Issues

If BraveNexas materially fails to deliver an agreed deliverable, the parties will first attempt to resolve the issue through:

  • Correction
  • Completion
  • Revised delivery
  • Another mutually agreed solution

Any refund, where applicable, will be determined according to the project agreement and work completed.

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.

11. Refund Request

Refund/cancellation requests should be submitted to:

enquiry@bravenexas.com

Please include:

  • Client/company name
  • Project name
  • Invoice number
  • Payment reference
  • Payment date
  • Reason for cancellation
